Gather together for World Mental Health Day on 10th October and hold a Bake Sale on any day in October. It is great way to come together for a chat and cake, to check in on one another and connect whilst raising some vital dough for Chasing the Stigma.
So round up your colleagues, friends, team-mates, friend and family and Get involved!

Where better to have a Bake Sale! You'll reach lots of people and raise some great dough

Think Brownies, Cubs, football, golf, rugby, dance schools, book clubs, the lot!

How to Organise your Bake Sale
Choose your venue
See above - As long as there will be people who like cake you can hold your event almost anywhere!
Choose your date
World Mental Health Day is 10th October, however we know busy diaries mean a Friday could be tricky. We are encouraging our bakers to set a date at any time in October. It also gives you more time to gather your bakers and cake fans!
Recruit some colleagues to bake and / or a local baker to donate.
Tell everyone! Use our posters to let everyone know when and where. Whatsapp, emails, social media, your work intranet, local notice boards are all great ways to advertise your event

Get in touch to let us know you are planning a Cake Bake and we'll send you special posters, cake cards and cake flags designed for you to print at home or the office! Just email Rebecca@chasingthestigma.co.uk
Fundraising
Set up your fundraising page in advance so that you can have a QR code printed on the day for people to scan and donate to - this helps you collect donations from those without cash. A fundraising page also means those who can't be there on the day can still be part of it!
Just go to Bake it Happen this October for Chasing the Stigma! - JustGiving and click 'Start Fundraising' to set up your page in a few simple steps.
Make sure you have a pot to collect cash on the day too. When your sale is ended and you've counted it together, just get in touch and we'll let you know how you can donate it into us.

I return after my shift on a farm in Yorkshire and open https://king-kong-cash.org.uk/ — everything here is for us, in pounds, no hassle.
