This Can Happen Awards Shortlist for Hub of Hope

Chasing the Stigma has been shortlisted for another prestigious award and we’re pleased as punch!

The Hub has been named a finalist in the This Can Happen Awards, in the Product Impact category for the Hub of Hope app, alongside 87%, Peter Larkum Limited and People Matter Technology.

Our entry highlighted how we have grown the Hub of Hope over the last four years and used it as the foundation for our accessible Ambassadors of Hope training.

This Can Happen is a solutions-led organisation that was launched in 2017 by three mental health champions. It has a passionate vision to support organisations of all sizes across the world to empower workplace mental health and run an award winning annual conference, awards programme, as well as offering useful resources for employers and employees to access for free.

While we’re obviously keeping our fingers and toes crossed for a win, we’re just honoured to have been shortlisted and have been blown away by some of the feedback from the judges, on the Hub of Hope.

Comments included: “A simple but very effective concept. Introducing the ambassador training provides a rounded approach to support clients. Tools and resources provide a wider benefit to clients, customers, friends and families. The CEO demonstrates visible leadership talking about his own mental health experiences.”

As well as: “amazing entry, really great app and the reach of it is incredible.”

Speaking about being shortlisted, Chasing the Stigma CEO, Jake Mills, said: “We’re so proud to have been named a finalist for this international award. The judges’ comments are absolutely fantastic and underline everything we have worked so hard to create through the Hub of Hope and our Ambassadors of Hope training.

“We would like to wish all the other finalists the best of luck and encourage them to continue to break the stigma around mental health in the workplace.”

You can read the full shortlist here and the award winners will be announced live on the This Can Happen social channels – LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube – on Thursday 24th June at 1pm.
