Team CTS takes on Tough Mudder 2021

This September, 12 brave individuals will be taking on the infamous Tough Mudder challenge to raise money for Chasing the Stigma.

CEO Jake Mills and his wife Rachael, Chasing the Stigma team member, Rachel Coogan, board member, Nikki Girvan, Marie Carter from Queen Bee Communications, the charity’s PR agency, and Gavin Sherratt and Steve Todd from Mashbo, the software development consultancy behind the Hub of Hope, will be joined by supporters Laura Penketh, Jack Dowden, Ben Hedley and Lewis Hudson to take on the ten mile assault course.

Jake, Steve, Gavin and Nikki previously took on the Delamere Forest Commando Trail in July 2018 (check out our finishing line photo),  which although challenging was probably akin to a a gentle amble in the park compared to the Arctic Enema, Everest and Electroshock Therapy obstacles that await them at Cholmondeley Castle on 5th September.

If you can, please – make it worth their pain, bruises and loss of dignity by donating and sharing far and wide.

Our donation link is here

When you donate to Chasing the Stigma, you allow us to keep the Hub of Hope free to use and enable us to deliver and manage our Ambassador of Hope training courses. By donating to our Tough Mudder challenge, you will allow us to maintain the technology we need to meet the demand on the Hub of Hope and help us to undertake vital community engagement to keep growing our database of services, improving access to mental health support across the UK.

What’s more, we will share the embarrassing photos and video post-event, for your viewing pleasure, we promise!
